what is the percent of a solution prepared by diluting 10.0 ml of 9.00% NaOH to 60.0 ML

there dilution rate is 10 ml of 9 percentage NaOH to 60 ml

molecular mass of NaOH = 40

solution is 9 % = 9 ÷ 40 × 1000 ÷ 100 = 2.5 molar

m1v1 = m2v2

2.25 × 10 = m2 × 60

m2 = 2.25 × 10 / 60

m2 = 0.375

now percentage , (%)

= 40 × 0.375 / 1000 × 100

= 1.5 %

The percentage of solution is 1.5
