Perimeter of the square is 400 meter

Given:

Perimeter of 1 hectare when area is given of a square

To Find:

Perimeter of 1 hectare of a square

Solution:

1 hectare = 10000 Sq.metre

Area of a square = ( side )2

therefore ( side )2 = 10000 m 2

or Side = √ 10000m 2

or side = √ 100 x 100

side of the square = 100 metre

Perimeter of the square

= 4 x side = 4 x 100

= 400 meter

Hence, we get the perimeter of a 1 hectare which is a square shaped is 400 meters
