→What is the perimeter of a flower garden whose length is 5a meters and width of 3b meters when a = 4 and b = 1/2 a ?

=> We know that , perimeter means the boundary i,e the sum of all the sides. Here the garden is a rectangle .

Perimeter of a rectangle is given by the formula ,

◼ 2 × ( L + B )

=> Now , we firstly need to find the length and breadth by substituting the given values in.

Given a → 4

=> Length = 5a = 5 (4) = 20 m [ 1. ]

°•° b = ½ a = ½ × 4 = 2

=> Breadth = 3b = 3 (2) = 6 m [ 2 ]

★Now we can plug in the values of Length and breadth from equations 1 & 2 .

•°• Perimeter = 2 × ( 20 + 6 )

=> 2 × ( 26 )

=> 52

◼Hence perimeter of the flower garden is 52 meters ✔

Ques ; what is the perimeter of a flower garden whose length is 5a metres, and width is 3b metres when a=4 and b=1/2a

\bold{\boxed{\mathfrak{Solution;}}}

Given ;

◻️length = 5a

◻️ width = 3b

Where, a = 4 and b = 1/2a =1 /2 ×4=2

so,

now the length =5a = 5×4=20 m

•°• width =. 3b = 3×2=6 m

As we know that,

perimeter of the rectangle = \sf{2(l+b)}

=> Perimeter = 2 (20+6)

=>. Perimeter= 26*2 m = 52 m

★so, the perimeter of the flower ground is 52 m

\bf{\red{\boxed{Thanks !}}}
