TO FIND PERIMETER OF A SQUARE THIS IS THE FORMULA:-

perimeter of a square= 4*side

for example:-

side of square= 5 cm

perimeter of square= 4*5 cm

                                = 20 cm

TO FIND PERIMETER OF A RECTANGLE THIS IS THE FORMULA:-

perimeter of rectangle= 2*(l+b)

for example:-

length of rectangle= 6 cm

breadth of rectangle= 3 cm

perimeter of rectangle=  2*(l+b) cm

                                   = 2*(6+3)cm

                                   = 2* 9 cm

                                    = 18 cm
