Perimeter of semicircle = half of perimeter of circle + diameter

=> Perimeter of semicircle = 1/2 × 2πr + d

=> Perimeter of semicircle = πr + 2r

=> Perimeter of semicircle = r(2+π)

here diameter = 10cm

radius = 10/2 = 5cm

perimeter = r(2+π) = 5(2 + 3.14) = 5 × 5.14 = 25.70 cm

perimeter is 25.70 cm

Answer:

25.7 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Given, diameter = 10 cm.

(i) Circumference:

= πd

= (3.14) * 10

=  31.4 cm.

(ii) Divide circumference in half:

= πd/2

= 31.4/2

= 15.7

(iii) Add the diameter:

= (πd/2) + d

= 15.7 + 10

= 25.7 cm.

Therefore, perimeter of the semi-circle is 25.7 cm.

Hope it helps!
