what is the perimeter of a square whose area is 196 sq.cm

Let the length of each side of square be x.
Then,area of sq. =(x × x) cm²
x² cm²
according to question ;
x² = 196
x = √196
x= 14

perimeter of sq. = 4×14
=56 cm

the area of a square=196square.cm
=>a square=196square.cm
=>a=under root 196 square cm
=>a=14cm
now
perimeter of a square=4a
=4x14cm=56cm
