HELLO!

A square is a polygon with four sides. We can obtain its perimeter by adding the lengths of all the side.Since the four sides of square are equal we can directly multiply the length of one side with four as there are four sides in a square.

So your formula would be ., P = 4*s

Given.,          side of square = 5cm

           perimeter of square = !

           perimeter of square = 4 * side

                                             = 4 * 5

                                             = 20cm

∴ the perimeter of square is equal to 20cm.
