What is the perimeter of a triangle whose sides
Are 65 cm, 82 cm and 78 cm?

track and a rectangular track respectively. The
side of the square track is 65 m and the length
and breadth of the rectangular track are 60 m
and 50 m respectively, who runs the shorter
length and by how much?​

1. The perimeter of the triangle

= a+b+c

= 65+82+78

= 228 cm

2. Distance ran by athlete A

= 4 x 65

= 260 m

Distance ran by athlete B

= 2(60+50)

= 220 m

Therefore athlete B runs the shortest distance by running 40m less than athlete A
