Let the Area of the square be x

Therefore,

x = Area of Rectangle of given measures ..... [given]

x = 2(16 + 9)m²

x = 2 × 25 m²

x = 50m²

It is given that Area of Square & Rectangle are same.

Let one of the side of the square be y

Area of a square = (side)²

50m² = y²

✓50m² = ✓y²

7.07 m = y

Perimeter of a square = 4 × side

= 4 × 7.07

= 28.28 m

Hence, the perimeter is 28.28 m
