Given:-

  • A rectangle of length 3\dfrac{1}{6}cm and width 2\dfrac{3}{4}cm.

To Find:-

  • It's Perimeter

Formula Used:-

  • {\boxed{\bf{Perimeter\:of\:Rectangle=2(L+ B)}}}

Solution:-

Using,

\bf :\implies\: Perimeter\:of\:Rectangle=2(L+ B)

Here,

  • L = 3\dfrac{1}{6} = \dfrac{19}{6}cm

  • B = 2\dfrac{3}{4} = \dfrac{11}{4}cm

Putting values,

\sf :\implies\: Perimeter=2(\dfrac{19}{6}+ \dfrac{11}{4})

\sf :\implies\: Perimeter=2\times \dfrac{38+33}{12}

\sf :\implies\: Perimeter=2\times \dfrac{71}{12}

\sf :\implies\: Perimeter= \dfrac{71}{6}\:cm

or,

\sf :\implies\: Perimeter= 11.8\overline{3}\:cm

Hence, The Area of the Rectangle is 71/6cm or 11.83cm.
