HCl⟶H++Cl−
HCl⟶HX++ClX−
HI⟶H++I−
HI⟶HX++IX−
According to what I thought, the molarity of H+HX+ is the same as HClHCl, because it is a strong acid and the mole ratio. So, I added the molarity of both acids: 0.15 M+0.055 M=0.205 M0.15 M+0.055 M=0.205 M for H+HX+ in solution.
pH=−log[H+]
pH=−log[HX+]
pH=−log[0.205]
pH=−log[0.205]
pH=0.689
