What is the ph of pure water and that of rain water? Why are they different? ​

PH value of pure water is 7. Because of presence of carbon dioxide in water the pH value of rain water slightly decreases(5.6). Since carbon dioxide reacts with rain water to form a minute amount of carbonic acid.
