Acceleration, a=dtdv.=−Aω2cosωt=Aω2cos(ωt+π)
Phase of displacement, ϕ1=ωt
Phase of acceleration, ϕ2=ωt+π
∴ Phase difference = ϕ2−ϕ1=(ωt+π)−ωt=π
