Hey !! It is the phenomenon in which beam of light of certain frequency falls on the surface of metal and electrons are ejected from it.

This phenomenon is known as photoelectric effect. It was first observed by Hertz. Hope it help uh dear friend;)❤️

this effect is based on the idea of electromagnetic radiation which have small particles known as photons.when a photon hits an electron on an metal surface,
the electron can be emitted.the emitted electrons are known as photoelectron
