Endocrine system is a glandular system that produces different hormones to maintain basic functions of the body , these hormones are the chemical substances carried to the tissues and organs from bloodstream to activate their performance. Some of the glands are pituitary , pineal, thyroid, parathyroids, thymus, pancreas, adrenals, and ovaries or testes. These work to regulate some functional activities like immunity , growth , reproduction.
