What is the piece of iron sunk in the water while a ship made of iron flot ?

Explanation:

There’s this force called buoyancy force ....which is like...if the boat or ship is 100kgs(just take that value, don’t ask me why)....so the ship will submerge till is replaces that 100kg of water...and also the shape of the ship supports that.....the shape make a large contact with water so that it can replace so water water before its submerged ....but where as in the iron block case....before it’s able to replace the water it’s submerged fully .....
