If plasma membrane lost the permeability the the nucleus would have a plasma membrane installed . Nuclear membrane is porous and permeable in nature and it allows nucleoplasm to communicate with cytoplasm Hope it Helps :)

The permeability of plasma membrane is needed for removing or throw out the metabolic waste of the cell and it also does not allow the other micro.organism ti enter in cell if it lose its permeability then the metabolic activities will not happen properly in cell...
Sometimes if there is any need of carbohydrate,protein etc.the plasma membrane is permeable to take these proteins and carbohydrate inside the cell........
