If you see in details there is no specific policy of india, Towards it's neighbors but trust me India is Pioneer and is best in foreign policy and the reason behind is the culture, whether it's coz of culture, food or Bollywood. India is a country which can relate to every continent or country because or its rich heritage in ancient time.

Now come to the basics, India's neighbours are Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, China, Myanmar out of 7 countries you only need visa for two countries Pakistan and China. You can imagine the love between neighbours and that so without any Aid or financial support not like relationship of China and Pakistan.

The only policy India has to its neighbours is of love, whether supporting Lanka in getting rid from LTTE, Whether Helping Nepal in the earthquake or Bangladesh in Tista river.

The Policy according to me is no interference maximum support, love, compassion.
