HELLO MATE 【◆◆◆◆◆】【●●●●●】-------

Object position (u) = - 20 cm (-ve sign due to position of object opposite to direction of incident ray)

Focal length (f) = -20 cm (focal length of concave mirror is always negative)

Mirror formula

1/f = 1/u + 1/v

-1/20 = -1/20 + 1/v

1/v = -1/20 + 1/20

1/v = 0

v = infinite ( not defined).

HOPE THIS HELP YOU..☺️☺️

Good question,

Here is your perfect answer!

Here f = - 20cm,

u = - 20cm

(sign convention)

Applying mirror's formula,

=) 1/f = 1/v + 1/u

=) - 1/20 = 1/v - 1/20

=) - 1/20 + 1/20 = 1/v

=) 0/20 = 1/v

=) v = 20/0

=) v = infinity,

Image is formed at infinity.
