During the British rule there were many changes in Indian industries but before British rule India was well sufficient in cotton textile industry.. and then British established jute mills in India which made fall in economic rate and this made Indian industries to lower production cloth textiles industries especially cotton.. there was no economical progress after establishment.. but before the establishment of jute mills in India cotton textile mills have produced more quantity and it made sufficient to our country and it also increased economic rate before establishment of jute mills that is before British rule.
