Answer:

First of all, that assumes that you believe that globalization is a problem. Globalization has become the developed nations international solution to encourage free trade worldwide. It is been been manipulated by many countries-particularly China- by currency manipulation, intellectual property theft, and dumping. In addition the Chinese have comitted virtual hostage holding of the American buying public because of the many factories that have been moved to that country. Globalization is the first baby step towards one world corporate government, for good or ill, and the countries that are not efficient product makers will not have such industries in their country unless they are protected by tariffs. Conversely, the most efficient industries in efficient countries will have free reign to beat out the competition worldwide. Whether this is good or bad, I am not sure but it seems increasingly bad for many nations including the US which is been complacent about wage growth as compared to efficiency since World War II. Now the chickens are coming home to roost as American companies move their industries offshore or automate, putting more and more less skilled people out of work. One wonders that if they developed countries to dominate the free trade arena whether or not developing countries will ever be able to develop unless they organize against the former. At this time they seem to be culturally, economically, governmentally, and or geographically unable to help themselves.
