Let us take three consecutive numbers 12 , 13 , 14 .
Now, When 12 is divided by 3 , It leaves a remainder 0 .
When 13 is divided by 3 , It leaves a remainder 1 .
When 14 is divided by 3 , It leaves a remainder 2 .
So, For a integer " a " , when divided by 3 , It leaves a Remainder " r " = { 0 , 1 , 2 }
