What is the potential energy of a stone at maximum height of mass 1 kg and thrown at a velocity of 10 m/s?​

Given,

u=10m/s \\ </p><p>v=0 \\ </p><p>a=g=10m/ {s}^{2}

(velocity of a body moving upwqard is decreasing so acceleration is negative)

 {v}^{2} = {u}^{2} +2as \\  \\ 0 =  {10}^{2}  + 2 \times  (- 10) \times s \\  \\ 0 = 100 - 20s \\  \\ 20s = 100 \\  \\ s =  \frac{100}{20}  \\  \\ s = 5

U=mgh=1×10×5=50J.
