What is the power (in diopters) of a converging lens with a focal length of 20cm? A diverging lens with a focal length of 30cm?

Answer: As a converging lens keans a convex lens.

So P=1/f

=1/0.2m

=5D

A diverging lens means a concave lens focal length of it is always negative.

P=1/f

=1/(-0.3)

=(-3.3)D
