YES, certainly. KVS has quota for all kinds of Central Govt. employees even if they have retired. But the number of seats is very less.

For Central Govt. employes they have KV for their respective fields. Eg- KV Railway, KV AFS, KV ARMY, etc. where the chairman is the person in charge of that field, where the KV is situated.

Most seats are given in the quota for Air force, Army, Navy, Wards of Defence men died in action, wards of kv alumini members, wards of kv teachers.

Then comes quota like SC, ST, OBC, etc.

But about 4 total seats are reserved for Chairman quota, in which anyone can take admission with a letter from the chairman of the school.
