Agra fort is in the banks of Jamuna River and is on the other side of the Taj Mahal. It was built by Akbar the great as he shifted the capital from Delhi to Agra. Later, Shah Jahan was imprisoned there by his son Aurangzeb.  Presently is serves as monument and tourists all over the world visit the place. The government of India looks after the fort today.
