The harp is alive and well,all over the world in many sizes,styles and types.they are being played in many countries,producing all kinds of music,with from as few as ten strings for double strung,cross strung harps.they can have gut nylon , bronze or even steel string and can be purely acoustic,acoustic-electric or solid body electric.And there are midi capable electric harps as well.so,yes , alive and well!:>)
