The present condition of Taj Mahal is very bad because the pollutants of air are discoloring it's white marble and the industries located in and around Agra like rubber processing, automobile, chemical producing pollutants like sulphur dioxide etc. erode the marble of the monument . That is why the marble is becoming yellow
