There are several disease for which a lrevention, cause, symptoms, origin and a cure might be given depending upon the virulence, severity and the causative effects the virus, bacteria, etc. may cause.

Prevention: This is done to be preventive from the first effects from the virus (or any other entity involved in it). It helps to be clear about the actual damaging of the system done by the virus and how long it may remain in a environment and try to adapt it.
Cause: This ascertains the link to the causative effects of the virus such as which medium it might actually pickup to travel and enter into the hosts, how it is actually caused and prescribing an effective prevention to it subsequently. If the causes are known it will be made more clear to the community and the public present in the world.
Cure: It is a remedy to clear or eliminate a virus (or other entities) to clear the cause of the problems to the respiratory systems (and other systems too) by complete eradication and destruction of the viruses itself in the body's immune system. Depending upon the requirement and the dosage it will definitely depend upon which stage or cycle the virus (other entities too) they have entered, ended or stopped.

the immune system is not always going to protect the human race as it will always be deemed to create new medicines and cure to make the disease eradicate from this planet.
