principle of motor:
if a current carrying conductor placed in a magnetic field,it will experiences a force.Due to this force the conductor begins to move.

electric motor is a device that works on the principle of force experienced by current carrying conductor in a magnetic field. when a reactangular coil is placed in a magnetic field and current is passed through it, a force acts on the coil which rotates it continously. when the rotates; shaft or spindke starts rotating and therefore it changes electrical enery into mechanical energy
