Given:

Cot theta is equal to zero

To find:

What is the principal solution of cot theta is equal to zero

Solution:

From given, we have,

Cot theta is equal to zero

cot ∅ = 0

The principal solution is calculated as follows,

cot ∅ = 0

taking inverse of cot on both the sides, we get,

∅ = cot ^{-1} 0

cot 90° = 0

⇒ ∅ = cot ^{-1} (cot 90°)

∅ = 90°

Hence the principal solution of cot theta is equal to zero.
