Distillation principles:-. Distillationis a method of separating the constituents of mixture (either a liquid or q gaseous one). It is a physical process and not achemical reaction using the different boiling temperatures of the constituents to separate them from the others.
Distillation application: - "Distillation is the process of separating the components or substances from a liquid mixture by selective boiling and condensation. ... In industrialchemistry, distillation is a unit operation of practically universal importance, but it is a physical separation process and not achemical reaction....
I hope its help you

Answer:
The principle of fractional distillation is that different liquids boil at different temperature. The miscible liquids boil at different temperature and evaporate at different temperature. When the mixture is heated, the liquid with lower boiling point boils and turns into vapours.
