The basic design of compound microscope are it consists of convex lenses fitted at the both end of a hollow tube,this is in turn attached to the adjustable rotatary nosepiece,there is a stage where specimens are kept.
Compound microscope are used for higher magnifications which makes the study of microorganisms,tissues and other micro-objects easier.
