what is the principle of reversibility from class 10th light chapter please explain properly
Answers
Answer: The principle of reversibility states that light follows exactly the same path if its direction of travel is reversed.
Hey mate...... Here is the correct answer :
as far as the law of reversibility is concerned it is the law which states that the light will follow the same path as it was following initially when it is reversed
for example in the above diagram the light is entering in that glass slab from o p and emerging from the glass slab as you are so if we will revert the light ray or we will enter the light ray from r q then it will follow the same path as it was following initially
TRIVIA
in the above ray diagram the light is firstly travelling from the rare medium or dare to a denser medium or water so it gets reflected towards the normal and then it is travelling from water to air or denser medium to rarer medium so it is now traveling away from the normal
speed of light in air is 2.9970 * 10 ^8.....speed of light in water is 2.25 * 10 ^ 8
I hope that it was helpful to you.............
