The technique used to separate two immiscible liquids is Separating funnel.
Principle:-
Immiscible liquids separate out in layer depending on the densities.
》 Pour the mixture of kerosene oil and water in the Separating funnel and let it stand undisturbed for some times so that separate layers of kerosene and water is formed. Open the stopcock of the Separating funnel and pour out the lower layer of water carefully and close the stopcock of the Separating funnel when the kerosene oil reaches the stopcock.
