What is the principle reversibility of light? Show that the incident ray of light is parallel to the emergent ray of light when light falls obliquely on a side of a rectangular glass slab.

according to the principle of reversebility the path of light is reversible.

the incident light is parallel to the emergent light because it suffers refraction on two parallel surfaces of the rectangular slab

the principle of reversibility of light states that when the light after refraction or reflection gets reversed...it will retrace its path

when light fall obliquely on a side of a rectangular glass slab...the angle between the normal and the incident ray is found to be equal to the angle between the normal of the opposite side and the emergent ray. therefore the incident ray emerge parallel to the emergent ray
