1. a mixture of water and salt:-

Method: Distillation

Principle: Distillation is the method of getting a pure liquid from a solution by evaporation and then condensing the vapour of the liquid having a low boiling point.

2. iron fillings from mixture of iron and sulphur

Method: Magnetic Separation

Principle: This method is based on the magnetic and non-magnetic properties of solid particles. It involves the separation of magnetic particles from non-magnetic particles using a magnet.

in this there are many principles used in the separation of two mixtures.

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER MATE:-

Distillation is based in the principale that when liquids are heated to Thier boiling points, they become gaseous, and when the gases are cooled, they change back in the liquid. dissolution is beased on the principle that some solid substances are soluble in certain kind of solvent ,while others are not.
