75% is the probability of producing a tall plant from two hybrid tall plants.

Explanation:

  • Each hybrid tall plant will have two genomes- T and t. So when two such plants are crosses, every gametes that is formed has the genomic form of TT, Tt or tt.
  • Now each of the offsprings that are of tall TT is then the plant will be hybrid tall if it has the formula of Tt and small if it will have formula tt.
  • So the ratio of the tall and short plant will be in 3:1 ration. So if expressed in percentage the amount of tall plants in the progeny is 75%.
