in anon  leap year there is 365 days and 364 days make 52 weeks. therefore, we have to find the probability of having sundays out of remaining 1 day

hence, probability of 53 sundays =1/7

in a leap year there are 366 days and 364 days make 52 weeks and in each weak there is one sunday. therefore, we have to find the probability of having a sunday out of two remaining days

now the two days can be (sunday, monday) (monday, tuesday) etc. note that sunday occurs 2 times in 7 pairs

let the event be having then the no. of fav. outcome to the event 2

hence, probability of having 53 sundays=2/7

hope it helps
