Question-

HOW TO ADD FRACTIONS

Step-by-step explanation:

Ans- It's simple!!!

Adding like fraction-

eg- 5/6 + 4/6

= 5+4 /6 = 9/6

Adding Unlike fraction-

Eg- 4/8 + 2/16

= First find LCM of the denominaters if they go it some table like

8 into 2 is 16 so we will make 4/8 as a like fraction with same denominater

So we have to multiply both numerater and denominater into 2 to make a like fraction with same denominater.

= 4 X 2 / 8 X 2 + 2/16

= 8/16 + 2/16

= 8 + 2 /16

= 10/16

Adding mixed fraction-

2 1/2 + 3/5

= 1 X 5 / 2 X 5 + 3 X 2 / 5 X 2

= 5/10 + 6/10

=11/10

=1 1/10(Mixed fraction as Answer)

Hope it helps!!!
