Respiration is the process in which breaking down food into simple substance to release energy with the help of oxygen to reach inhale of air and exhaled carbon dioxide.

in the process of respiration, organisms inhale air that rich in oxygen . The oxygen reached the blood and contacts with the all body parts cells. This is also known oxidation of blood.
finally , the carbon-dioxide exhaled out.
