Answer:

Nuclear Fission and Fusion are used to harness Nuclear Energy. The nucleus of a radioactive element is split liberating huge amount of energy, this is Nuclear Fission. Whereas, Nuclear Fusion is used to create a larger mass by inserting particles. Nuclear Energy is derived both ways hence.

hope it helps! :)

Answer:

Nuclear Reactors

Explanation:

We use nuclear reactors for harnessing nuclear energy. The process is nuclear fission i.e bombarding heaving radioactive metals with another heavy metal which have neutrons (to make the process easy) to form protons which leads to formation of heat which is then converted to mechanical or electrical energy as per our use. We our still not able to perform NUCLEAR FUSION (taking place in stars), in future maybe we will able to do it. If you want more information on this topic then i'll link a video of youtube which will explain this to you crystal clear by the channel VERITASIUM.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HD3k1hgbUXQ

thank you
