HERE IS UR ANSWER DEAR,

x {}^{2}  - 5 x + 6 = 0

here

sum =  - 5

product  = 6

hence \: \: it \:may \: be \: written \: as

x {}^{2}    +  ( (- 3 )+  (- 2) )x+ ( - 3 \times  - 2) = 0

(x - 2)(x - 3) = 0

(x - 2) = 0 \:  \:  \:  \: :  \: (x - 3) = 0

x = 2 \:  \:  \:  :  \:  \: x = 3

therefore ,

2 and 3 are the roots of the polynomial..
