Blood has three main functions in the human body i.e Transport of substances from one part of the body to the other like respiratory gases, waste products, enzymes etc, Protect against diseases and Regulation of body temperature. It carries oxygen from lungs to different parts of the body.

blood is a type of connective tissue which is suspended in a fluid Matrix .it contains WBC, RBC and platelets .
blood flows from one part of the body to other and carries various substances. it flows and transports digested food ,hormones and waste materials to these parts of the body. hence blood is one of the most important organs off the body and a performs one of the primary functions.
