The directional growth movements of plant due to external stimuli are called tropic movement. It can be either towards the stimulus, or away from it. For example, in case of phototropic movement, shoots respond by bending towards light while roots respond by bending away from it
n animals, the messages are communicated in the form of nerve impulses quickly. But still, there are some limitations to the nervous system.
Nerve impulses can reach only those cells which are connected by the nervous tissues. And the cells connected by nervous tissues, after generation and transmission of the impulse, take some time to rest before the generation and transmission of new impulse.
In simple words, cells cannot continuously generate and transmit nerve impulses. This is the reason why most multicellular organisms use another form of control and coordination, named chemical coordination.
The advantage of chemical coordination is that the information spreads out throughout the body by blood (then the required part picks it up...as per its requirement) and the effect generally lasts longer.
functions of parts of brain you can refer to any helpbook or ncert
hope it helps !!!
plz mark as brainliest
it is the movement of plant towards stimulus
fore brain is the main thinking part of the brain and control voluntary actions store information and receives sensory impulses from various parts of the body and integrated and Centre associated with hunger
mid brain controls voluntary actions
cerebellum controls posture and balance precession of voluntary actions
medulla and Pons control involuntary actions
