Pure substance is elements like copper iron etc. whereas mixture include iron Sulphur copper iron mixture i.e. impure substance

Pure substances are the substances which are made up of molecules containing the same kind of atoms, and is always homogeneous in nature.

Example: A copper block, Carbon dioxide (all molecules of it are made up of one atom of carbon and two atoms of oxygen)

Air is a mixture since it contains various gases, such as oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, water vapour, etc. contained in different proportions in different areas.
