The purpose of the start button:

• MS Windows 95 released or introduced the Start button. This Start button, is henceforth, could be seen in all releases of MS windows.  

• Using Start menu, we can configure the Windows and access it as well. In MAC, Apple menu is the start of the window.  

• This start button is default and can be seen in the bottom down left corner of every desktop screen. It can be moved as well to any corners using the window tool bar.  

• This start menu is initiated by clicking on it and from that we can access all the software programs and drives.
