Explanation:

Seena Shah joined the Conservative Party in 2015 to help build a country in which it pays to work and where there are opportunities for everyone despite their background.

She is a life-long resident of Old Moulsham in Chelmsford, Essex. She attended Moulsham High School and read International Relations with Spanish at the University of Plymouth.

In her professional life, Seena has built a successful award-winning career in marketing and was listed as a Top Woman in Digital by The Drum. She has worked on marketing campaigns for household name brands and leading technology companies, including Cisco, PA Consulting, Coca-Cola and BP. In 2015, she founded a digital communications consultancy, Splash Creative London, which helps technology start-up businesses communicate new concepts. Seena is a technology enthusiast and is keen to see Great Britain as a world leader in this area.

She is an advocate for women in STEM, having taught herself to code in her first marketing role and worked in the Berlin technology start-up scene. Since joining the Conservative Party, Seena has served as Chair and (presently) President of Conservative Young Woman which represents all women in the Party aged 30 and under. Seena is keen to give women a strong voice in Parliament.

Seena dedicates much of her free time to volunteering in the community as a community crime group Co-Ordinator, Vice Chair of Governors at a primary school, Governor of a college and Trustee of Openroad a drug and alcohol rehabilitation charity. When Seena sees a problem in the community, she wants to fix it- noticing a spike in youth crime in the area she grew up, she co-founded Project Legacy which aims to combat it. She is a real champion of the community and would be a strong voice for any community.
