i think that it's not distance it's displacement. Because speed vs time graph gives distance

shaurjendra: see what is velocity , it is the DISPLACEMENT/TIME so area under the curve will give displacement and speed is DISTANCE /TIME so area under that curve will give distance and distance and displacement is not the same the earlier one was a vector quantity and the latter one is a scalar quantity moreover they have many differences
