Let radius be r
area 120cm²
circumference c
area 120 = πr²
120*7/22 = r²
840/22= r²
38.18= r²
6.18=r
c= 2πr
=38.8

Given,

Area of the circle = 120 sq. cm

To Find,

The radius of the circle =?

The circumference of the circle =?

Solution,

We can solve the question using the following steps:

Area of a circle = \pi r^{2}

Substituting the values,

120 = \pi r^{2}

120 = 3.14*r^{2}

\frac{120}{3.14} = r^{2}

r^{2} = 38.21

r = \sqrt{38.21}

r = 6.18 cm

Now.

Circumference = 2\pi r

                         = 2*3.14*6.18

                          = 38.81 cm

Hence, the radius of the circle is 6.18 cm and the circumference of the circle is 38.81 cm.
